Early in the morning of November 14, Giridharan (34 years old, bank staff) woke up in a state of dizziness, vomiting, and breathing extremely difficult. He tried to call his wife - Ms. Pavithra (31 years old) to seek help when he discovered that his wife and both children were in a coma.
As soon as he realized the abnormal point, he tried to call for emergency.
The whole family was later taken to the hospital in critical condition. After many hours of emergency, Giridharan and his wife were fortunate to keep their lives. However, the two children, Chaishnavi (6 years old) and his younger brother Sandharshan (1 year) did not survive. The bodies of the two children were transferred to the Chromepet Government Hospital for autopsy. The parents are also transferred to the special care room of a private hospital in Porur.

"Fate" night
Everything started on Wednesday, when Giridharan contacted an insecticide company at T Nagar via online service to handle mice and insects at home in Chunai. While his wife, Pavithra took her children to the temple, the company's staff came to spray, set a gel and pills outside the house. In the afternoon of the same day, the whole family returned and that night slept in the air -conditioned room as usual. However, the "death" quietly visited the family of Giridharan that night.
According to the police report, the poison in insecticides and rodents diffused in the air into aerosol and accumulated in the lungs of all four.Because the room turned on the air conditioner, creating favorable conditions for toxins to affect the whole family.
Dr. Chandrasekaran, emergency expert at SRM Hospital (Chunai), said:"Rat and insecticides have many forms such as flour, tablets, cakes, gel and sprays. They often contain zinc phosphorus, aluminum phosphorus. These substances are very toxic and each has different toxicity. The child dies, symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting and asphyxiation show that the cause may have additional chemical poisoning organophosphorus (found in pesticides). When used in a closed room, the inhaled person may be poisoned and lead to death.
Immediately after clarifying the cause, the police quickly prosecuted three individuals of the insecticide company. Two dinakaran and Shankar Das staff were arrested. The owner of the company, Premkumar, is currently fled and a task force has been established for arrest.

Until now, the couple Giridharan has passed the critical crisis, but both still have to follow at the ICU in the next two days.Because of some health problems, both husband and wife still do not know the two children died.
The incident is currently attracting a lot of attention of Indian public opinion. The heartbreaking tragedy that Giridharan's family encountered as a warning bell in the use of toxic chemicals to kill animals and harmful insects.
Regarding this incident, many doctors have made reminder people need to be more cautious to avoid the same heartbreaking incidents that may occur.
Doctor Karthikeyan, Meenakhi Specialized Hospital (Madurai), said:"Rat poison has three types: powder, tablets and gel. People often think that the gel is the most dangerous. However, even inhaling rat poison can cause problems. The mouse can cause asphyxiation.
